How our PPA supports your clients.
Whether you’re a solar installer, energy consultant or broker, we can help you broaden your offering and support more commercial clients to adopt solar with no capital outlay.
We fund the entire project and your client simply purchases discounted energy from us over a 10-25 year period.
We are backed by a large and established renewable energy fund with over $2.2 bn of capital deployed, and can fund 100% of your client’s solar installation and ongoing maintenance costs.
Why partner with us?
Speed to quote
We provide a formal PPA price and proposal within 24 hours — so you keep the momentum in your sales process.
Solve roof issues
We can fund roof repair or replacement as part of the PPA — so structural issues don’t stand in the way of a deal.
We solve the "Hard" sites
While other funders may walk away from short leases or complex multi-site estates, we specialise in taking a flexible approach and finding a legal and financial structure that works.
A two-way partnership
We work collaboratively with our installers and are always happy to join you on client calls. As well as supporting your clients with our PPA solution, we will also actively bring projects to our trusted partner network.
Simple and transparent
We provide detailed and clear proposals that installers can use when communicating with their clients. We have also worked hard to simplify the contractual process and minimise time involved in setting up a PPA.
Beyond solar
We can also fund batteries and CHP and can help assess what solutions will work best for your clients.
We do PPAs differently
At Two Blues Solar, we have a highly flexible model and are able to accommodate different client requirements, lease lengths and pricing preferences. We want to create a PPA that suits your client’s needs.
Our goal is to make PPAs as transparent, flexible and accessible as possible, and this includes making it simple for installers to work with us.
From quote to commissioning
Quote
Send us the site basics and we’ll provide a PPA rate and savings projection for your client.
Terms
Once the client decides to proceed, we issue a HoT to lock in the project parameters and kick off pre-construction — including DNO applications and structural surveys.
Our pre-prepared legal suite keeps the contract phase as fast as possible. We simultaneously sign a PPA and lease with the client and a JCT contract with you.
You install the system. We pay your invoices on the pre-agreed milestone schedule.
O&M
We take over the billing and monitoring and cover all the costs of the long-term maintenance, insurance and parts replacement.
What we need for a quote
To give you a proposal within 24 hours, we just need
- Client name & site address
- System size (kWp) and yield
- Expected self-consumption %
- Your installation costs
- Site ownership status (Freehold/Leasehold)
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can we provide a quote?
What different pricing methodologies do we offer?
We can adapt to client preferences over the pricing method for the PPA term. Typically we offer fixed inflation and fixed pricing options, but we can also offer CPI-linked or discount-to-market pricing.
Can we work on tenanted sites?
Can we provide a PPA for companies with lower credit ratings?
Are our PPAs 'take or pay'?
What happens if a client wants to exit an agreement early?
How do we work with installers?
We work with a range of installers but require them to have relevant experience and accreditations for the projects they’re quoting. Once a client has opted for our PPA option with you as the installer, we will send Heads of Terms which outline the key clauses of the PPA & Lease. Once these are signed, we work with you to manage the applications and installation process, with regular scheduled catch-ups.
Can Two Blues provide marketing collateral?
Yes we have a variety of materials catered for different audiences and can either provide this directly or co-brand these materials with your business.
Can I see a template Heads of Terms?
We are happy to share a sample of our HoTs. Feel free to request a copy from rachel@twobluessolar.com.
How can an installer become one of our partner EPCs?
We have a small number of regular partner EPCs who we work with on our own sourced projects. We would typically work with an installer on one or two projects before inviting them to become one of our partners. If you’re interested in discussing this further, please get in touch.
