Outcomes First Group (OFG) is a leading education provider with nearly 100 schools across the UK. Sustainability is integrated into every aspect of its operations as it works towards reducing its carbon footprint, embracing sustainable sourcing and raising environmental awareness. This initial trial roll-out of solar across 4 schools is part of its wider sustainability initiatives.

Two Blues Solar has partnered with Photon Energy to deliver a pilot rollout of solar and battery storage systems across four of Outcomes First Group’s Schools.
This is part of OFG’s strategic plan to meet its sustainability goals and demonstrate a tangible commitment to renewable energy. Acting as a consultant and project manager, Two Blues Solar oversaw the entire process from initial site feasibility assessments and system design to managing the installation process and providing ongoing asset management.
The combined generation capacity of the four sites is 298 kWp, which is expected to generate 273,000 kWh of clean energy annually. This project is projected to provide nearly £2 million in energy bill savings over the life of the systems and will cut carbon emissions by 61 tonnes each year.

As a funder and developer of on-site solar, Two Blues also provides consultancy support to clients who wish to self-fund projects.
This helps them roll out solar more rapidly with less internal resources, and it provides the solar expertise needed to ensure a high-quality, optimally sized, and safely installed system.
Two Blues Solar worked closely with OFG's sustainability and facilities teams to take the projects from feasibility to delivery within a tight four-week window over the summer holidays. Works took place simultaneously across the four sites with Photon Energy, ensuring each installation was completed on time and within budget, with minimal demand on OFG’s staff.
Two Blues Solar will continue to provide long-term support to OFG through a client-facing portal that gives live visibility of solar generation, as well as providing monthly reports. This partnership has enabled OFG to confidently and efficiently integrate solar energy into its portfolio, with a view to extending the programme across more schools in future.
